What is Netflix? (brought to you by holtreman.net)
NetFlix is the newest and most convenient method of renting DVD movies. Of course, as the name suggests this is done via the internet and while it may sound like a task, it's really a breeze and quite worthy of a subscription. As a member, I've rented over 250 movies from Netflix and actually watched them at the time most convenient for me.
How does NetFlix work? You order any number of DVDs you desire by adding them onto your list (or queue), they will send you the first three that are on your list. As soon as you send back at least one DVD (in a prepaid envelope), they will instantly ship out the next DVD on your list. There is no limit as to how many DVDs you can receive within any month, so you're saving quite a lot of money by renting online with NetFlix. You can keep the DVDs as long as you wish. You can cancel your account at any day, hour, minute or second, so commitment is not an issue. Also, this isn't a DVD club where they will send you unwanted DVDs. Whatever YOU choose from their huge selection of movies, is sent to you, that's it.
So why rent from NetFlix and not the local shop? That's easy.
Two weeks free? Yes, NetFlix will let you rent their DVDs for 2 weeks, free of charge. Take advantage of this offer as soon as you can. If you like the service, simply do nothing and you're a member but if you don't like it, simply login to your account and click "Cancel My Account" and you won't ever be charged for the free trial. I've personally been a member since October of 1999
