Evil Wheel safety tips
I have recently started using the wheel (bought the incredibly vulgar looking Ab Force device, as no one carries the straight wheel here anymore) and am wondering about a few sensations that may mean required tweaks of form.
First, is it normal to feel that keeping the back rounded while the arms go overhead to be a bit counterintuitive? It almost feels like I am fighting a reflex of spine extension (I can keep it pretty rounded, and do not get back pain though).
Second, is it normal to feel strong muscle activity in the neck? I would not call it strain, but certainly vigorous effort, anything I should be revising or is it a positive side effect?
